One-host sessions
One screen, one host. No phones needed.
A one-host session puts the whole game show on your screen. Run a quick quiz, a party round or a game show at a live event: the room plays out loud, and nobody has to scan, sign up or download a thing.

Step 1 of 4
Choose One host
Start from the homepage or your dashboard, name your session and pick One host on the How are you hosting? step.
Only your screen needs to be connected, so one-host sessions work in living rooms, classrooms and venues with patchy signal. Start now, or schedule it for later.
Scheduling a one-host session still gives you a printable poster. It simply has no QR code, because nobody needs to join.

Step 2 of 4
Add who's playing
There is no join link. Type each name in or paste a list, or skip names and play as the whole room.
Individual. Up to 10 players, each with their own turn and score.
Teams. Name 2 to 5 teams for bigger groups. A team is just a name, so nobody has to be signed to one.
Whole room. No names at all. Everyone calls out answers together, with no turns and no scores.
Track scores. Leave it on for a leaderboard, or switch it off for a relaxed round.
Switching between Individual, Team and Whole room keeps your lists, so a team round can follow a solo one.
Step 3 of 4
Run every turn from your screen
The prompt appears on your screen and you tap what happened. Neegma keeps the time and the score.
Act it, describe it, sing it
Each turn goes to one player, or to a team. Tap Correct or Skip as they go.
Charades and Taboo. A team sends someone forward. Only they see the word on your screen, and the rest of their team guesses.
Song Association and Word Art. The whole team sees the word or prompt, and any of them can answer.
Hot Seat
In Odd One Out, Missing Letter, Unscramble, Sub-Words and your own Trivia sets, each question goes to one player or team in turn. When the clock stops, reveal the answer and score the turn.
Points. 1000 for a right answer, with the leaderboard between rounds.
Sub-Words. They call out every smaller word they can find. Check each one in the answers as it comes, then tap what they found. More words, and longer ones, score more.
Whole room
Play as Whole room and your question set runs one question after another. Read each one out or put it on a big screen, let everyone call out answers, show the answer, then go straight to the next. There are no turns or scores, so it suits a big room or a warm-up.
Your own sets. Whole room plays question sets you made in the Playground, for Missing Letter, Odd One Out, Sub-Words, Trivia and Unscramble.
As long as you like. The set reshuffles when it runs out, and you finish whenever the room is ready.
Pass the phone
In Who Said It, Telepathy and Concentration everyone answers the same prompt in secret. Your device goes round the room: each player or team types an answer and hands it on, then the answers come up together on your screen.
Who Said It. The room guesses who wrote each answer, and you tap everyone who called it right.
Telepathy. Matching answers are grouped, and the biggest group scores.
Concentration. The fewer people who wrote your answer, the more it scores.
These games need at least 3 players or teams.
Step 4 of 4
Crown a winner
With Track scores on, every game ends on its own standings and the leaderboard adds up the whole session.
Read the standings out between games to build a rivalry, then finish on the podium. Your session's analytics are waiting in the dashboard afterwards.

Questions
Good to know
Do players need phones?
No. Players answer out loud and you tap what happened. Only your screen is connected.
What do I host from?
A phone, a laptop or a TV, whichever suits the room. On a phone you can read each prompt out, and on a TV the room can watch.
How many can play?
Up to 10 individual players, or 2 to 5 teams of any size.
Quick quiz formats
Play as Whole room and your Trivia set runs until you finish, ready for a quick quiz round or a pub quiz read aloud.
Live events and stage shows
Running a game show at a live event? Host from a phone, a laptop or the stage display, pick contestants or teams from the crowd and keep score from one device.
Templates work too
Templates work in one-host sessions too. Any game in one that needs player phones is shown as unavailable.
Your own questions
Build custom sets in the Playground for inside jokes, brand trivia or a class topic.
Two ways to host
Live or one-host? Pick per event.
Same host controls, same leaderboards. The difference is who holds a screen.
